Grantley Hall is one of those venues that takes your breath away the moment you walk in. The ornate ceilings, the gold-framed paintings, the impeccable attention to detail in every room — it's a lot to live up to as a florist, and honestly, we loved every second of it.

May and Jonny wanted their flowers to feel romantic, wild and natural — impactful without being overdone. For a venue as grand as Grantley, we knew the florals needed to feel abundant and lush but still organic, like they'd somehow always belonged there.

We created a full floral arch for the ceremony space using tumbling foliage, white roses and ranunculus, which we paired with a large asymmetric installation that pooled down onto the floor — green hydrangea, anthurium and trailing eucalyptus spilling out beneath the original oil paintings. It felt dramatic but completely natural at the same time, which was exactly the brief.

For the reception we carried the same palette through — a long table runner of green hydrangea and white roses alongside silver candelabras, with bud vases scattered the length of the table. The green against the sage walls of that room was just chef's kiss.

We have to give a mention to the Grantley Hall team as well — honestly the most incredible venue staff we've ever worked with. Their attention to detail is on another level and they make everything run so smoothly on the day. It makes such a difference as a supplier when a venue genuinely cares as much as you do, and Grantley Hall absolutely does. Easily our favourite venue we've had the pleasure of working at.

It was an intimate wedding, which meant every detail was noticed. There was nowhere to hide — and we didn't need to.
